Merry Christmas!

To all our friends, family, clients, fans and followers, I wish you all a very safe and happy holiday season!

At this time of year we take the time to reflect on the past year and plan for the upcoming year. It is a happy time for many, sad for others. And through all the excitement, we somehow find time and a few extra dollars to share with those less fortunate over the holiday season.

There have been so many campaigns for food donations and financial help through the organizations geared to helping those in need. One of the networking groups I am a member of provided gifts for a complete family at Gillian’s Place. It was very rewarding organizing this special Christmas for a mother and her four children.

Astral Media with their Great Canadian Food Drive raised over $238,000 in donations. Organizations throughout Niagara are collecting money and food for the food banks, yet the food banks are still low in supplies and many will have a slight Christmas this year. So here is yet another plea to think of someone less fortunate this holiday season and drop a few bits and bobs in the food bank bins at the local grocery stores, or contribute to the Salvation Army’s campaigns as you leave the store. Every little bit helps.

And, amazingly enough – that little bit of generosity will bring a smile to your face, knowing you helped someone less fortunate than yourself.

I’ve heard some pretty amazing stories this year! If only we were all this generous throughout the entire year!

Merry Christmas!
